About Us
This website was created by Jessica Eckberg, an avid animal lover. Ever since she learned what a veterinarian was in kindergarten she has always wanted to become one. She graduated cum laude from Mountain Home High School in 2011, and will be attending University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, primarily because of their excellent pre-veterinary program. After obtaining her bachelors, she will go on to a veterinary college.
The Girl Scout Gold Award is the highest achievement a Girl Scout can earn. It is the Girl Scout equivalent of an Eagle Scout. Jessica Eckberg has been a member of Girl Scouts for eleven years, and she is in Girl Scout Troop 5238. She earned her Bronze Award (which is the highest award for Brownie/Junior Girl Scouts) in _ grade. This website is one of three parts to her Gold Award project (the others being the brochure and the pet fair which has no set date yet).
Dr. Rob Conner is Jessica's Gold Award project advisor. Rob was raised in Mountain Home and attended the University of AR, Fayetteville, graduating there with a BS in Animal Science. He graduated from Louisiana State University, College of Veterinary Medicine, Baton Rouge in 1989. He practiced in Huntsville, AR for six years before moving back to Mountain Home. His clinic is All Creatures Veterinary Hospital, located on Highway 62 West between Mountain Home and Gassville.
